In the hustle and bustle of my post-university life as a publicist, little did I know that a lunch break stroll would lead me to change my career path and reshape my journey. It was during one of those moments of respite that I stumbled upon a simple poster that would change everything – a workshop offering drawing on ceramics. The prospect of exploring this new artistic avenue captivated me, drawing me in with the promise of combining my love for drawing and the tactile nature of ceramics.
In the quest to find my artistic voice, my creative journey has taken unexpected turns, opening new doors of exploration. Each step, a discovery. Each experiment, a revelation.
It's a symphony of influences, experiences, and the constant evolution of self-expression.
What began as a casual escape during lunchtime soon evolved into a full-fledged passion project. Ceramics became the medium through which I could breathe life into my drawings, transforming them into tangible, enduring forms. The unpredictability of the kiln and the limitless possibilities of clay offered a refreshing departure from the structured confines of having a regular job, which I enjoyed but clay feels like home.
Now, as I navigate this dual identity of having a BA on Business and being and artist, I find joy in the symbiotic relationship between these two worlds.
